Thursday July 15, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying in the recliner.

• 5:05pm Maureen‘s pull-up is now wet so we headed to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels. We cleaned up and put on a new pull-up. We returned to the recliner after.

• 6:10pm Dinnertime. Maureen had some more linguine courtesy of chef Brian and half of an Italian sausage. She also drank one cup of water. Maureen’s posture is the best it’s ever been in the new geri chair. No coughing, no pocketing food or water in her mouth. She is very talkative tonight during dinner.

• 7:12pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 7:38pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is dry; we changed to a new diaper. No redness observed. Vicks applied to chest. Socks removed and Ciclopirox applied to both right and left big toe. Knee pillow placed between legs. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Head of the bed elevated. Maureen is lying on her right side.
