Thursday, January 5, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still as asleep.

• 7:20 am- Maureen is opening her eyes from time to time, slowly waking up.

• 745 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:20 - Maureen is awake. She is alert enough and we started our day. The diaper was light wet. Dalia and I performed a clean and change routine. We used the 3 M products. The discoloration on her lower sacrum area is still noticeable, looks the same as yesterday. We applied Cavilon Barrier film. Dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:38 am - Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:40 am - Breakfast- banana, oatmeal, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

• 9:10 am- Administered Lisinopril and Loratadin with apple sauce.

• 9:12 am - Administered 20 ml Robafen.

• 9:15 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 9:20 am- Eyes wash and eye drops.

• 9:20 am- Morning facial routine.

• 9:40 am- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair. Congestion is almost non existent today. There was only one cough so far, no phlegm. Position in the geri chair is great, straight and centered. She finished a whole cup of lemon water, never holds it in her mouth.

• 10:30 am- Smoothie time. No coughs.

• 10:40 am - Maureen is enjoying a nice visit with Carolyn.

• 11:15 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and her first rest break. The diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:30 am.

• 12:30 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet with a small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45 pm- Lunch- cabbage soup, eggs salad, fresh tomatoe, bottle of coconut water. Maureen coughed once.

• 1:10 -pm- Administered 20 ml of Robafen.

• 1:15 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch for her comfort.

• 2:00 pm - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. The diaper was heavy wet. Dalia and I performed a clean and change routine. Maureen will lie down on her left side for an hour starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Rest break #2 is over. Maureen's diaper was heavy wet with a medium formed bowel movement in. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:30 pm- Fruit snack. One cough.

• Maureen had low energy today. She was calm and relaxed, but very quiet. There were no sneezes, She only coughed a few times, no phlegm, we didn't see a runny nose either. She had two full cups of lemon water so far, on her third one already.
