8:00AM - Maureen's awake when I came in. According to Tom, she woke up at 5:30am and they slept for an hour and got up again around 7:00am. She had sips of water via swab.
8:30AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:40AM - We started washing Maureen's body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.
8:55AM - Administered Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce. Maureen had a cup of lemon water, too.
9:05AM - Breakfast started with 6oz of prune juice, oatmeal fruit smoothie, and yogurt. Maureen coughed twice and able to get out some phlegm, no suction needed.
9:25AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.
9:35AM - Oral care.
9:45AM - Eye care and eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine followed.
10:10AM - BP: 108/70, 69 bpm
10:25AM - Maureen closing her eyes for a nap.
10:50AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper awas dry. Position to face her right side.
**We decided to put Maureen on rest break early because Deanna will be coming at noon time for her hair.
11:50AM- 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Transferred to the kitchen for lunch.
12:00PM - Lunch was shrimp salad, beets, veggie soup and yogurt which Maureen enjoyed. Coughed twice, sneezed twice. She had a cup of coconut water.
12:20PM - Deanna arrived to color and trim Maureen's hair.
1:10PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair for one notch after.
2:30PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her left side.
3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Then, transferred to the front room.
3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
**Carolyn came by to visit Maureen.
