Thursday, February 23 Daytime update

6:30 am- Maureen was in and out of sleep. Tom administered 0.1 ml of Lorazepam.
7:00 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep. She is calm and relaxed when her eyes are open. No signs of restlessness so far.
8:00 am- No change, Maureen is still in and out of sleep. She continues to be very relaxed.
9:00 am- Maureen has her eyes closed most of the time. When she opens them up at times, she looks sleepy.
9:15 am- Maureen is wake now.
9:30 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied 3 M Cavilon products. We next washed Maureen's upper body. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.
9:45 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
9:46 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once.
10:15 am- Administered 1 tablet of Cyprofloxacin and Lisinopril with apple sauce. We reclined Maureen's chair after.
10:20 am- Morning oral care.
10 25 am- Eye wash and eye drops.
10:30 am- Maureen is relaxing in the chair. She looks much better this morning. Her eyes are more open. There no congestion, no runny nose, no sneezing. Coughing was very minimal.
11:15 am- Half a smoothie.
Maureen's diaper is still dry, we are waiting for Deana to come.
11:50 am- Deanna came in. She collected Maureen's hair.
12:10 pm- Lunch- Minestrone soup , brought in by Carolyn, eggs salad, fresh tomatoe, bottle of coconut water. Maureen coughed 4 times.
12:45 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her hair wash. She enjoyed the hair massage.
1:00 pm- Back to the kitchen for hair cut and style.
1:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her break. Her diaper was heavy wet and she just had a large formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned thoroughly, changed and positioned Maureen on her right side at 1:30 pm.
3:00 pm- The extended rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.
3:20 pm- Fruit snack.
