Thursday, February 2 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She is laying on her left side, calm and relaxed.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still awake.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is closing her eyes at times.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is slowly waking up.

• 8:45 am- Maureen is awake and alert , we started our day. The diaper was dry. We washed Maureen's upper body, applied Hydrocortisone cream to her neck area, Nystatin to her right elbow inner fold. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- pancake, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. We started with administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed four times during breakfast. No red face.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:30 am- Administered Lisinopril and Loratadin with apple sauce.

• 9:35 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down after.

• 9:45 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 9:50 am- Facial routine.

• 10:15 am- Maureen is closing her eyes in the chair.

• Maureen enjoyed the company of her sister Coleen.

• 11:00 am- Half a smoothie.

• 11:45 am - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon Barrier film on the sacrum area, Cavilon lotion. The abdominal fold had a very slight redness. Cleaned , dried and applied a thin layer of Nystatin. Belly button is healed. We cleaned and dried it. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 12:00 pm.

• 1:00 pm- Rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 1:15 pm- Lunch- green peas and chicken soup, chicken salad, half of a fresh tomato, bottle of coconut water, cup of lemon water. Two coughs. We reclined Maureen's chair during lunch because she was leaning forward. In the reclined position she was sitting straight.

• 1:50 pm- Oral care.

• 2:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:45 pm.

• 3:30 pm- The rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet with a very small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:45 pm- Fruit snack. Maureen coughed once.

• Maureen started the day with a low energy, but it picked up in the afternoon. Congestion was nonexistent, coughing was minimal.
