Thursday December 30, 2022 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maya states that Maureen was sleeping soundly on her arrival with a little twitching now and then. Positioned on her Lt side.

• 7:00am Maureen’s in and out of sleep. P:64-65, O2:93-96 range.

• 7:30am Maureen opens her eyes a little from time to time .

• 8:00am Maureen is receptive to some sips of water vía swap, she’s relaxed.

• 8:30am Maureen is fully awake and ready to start the day. Diaper is md wet, Maya and I cleaned and changed her using 3m products and the purple warmed wipe, we also performed upper body wash. There are no redness area present, except for the tiny red sports on her chest - Nystatin cream applied. Dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

• Maureen seems to be more alert and energetic today!

• 8:45am Administered Levothyroxine w/Applesauce. Breakfast: oatmeal, banana, prune juice w/12 cap miralax, cup of water. Coughed once.

• Note: Today we added the juice of a 1/4 lemon to Maureen‘s water to help with her under the weather symptoms. Glad to report that she DRANK the whole cup of water without holding it in her mouth not even once. 🙏

• 9:15am Oral care an facial routine performed.

• 9:25am Maureen’s chair is reclined one notch. Her nose is running and she’s coughing some phlegm that thankfully we were able to grab it with the help of the suction pump. There’s some sneezing too.

• 10:25am Smoothie time. By this time Maureen’s energy appears to be fading away. Her nose keeps running.

• 11:00am We take Maureen to the bedroom for 1st break. Diaper was md wet and there was a small-formed bowel movement. Changed and cleaned w/3m&aloe vesta. Lying on her Rt side, break #1 stars at 11:20am

• 12:20pm Break #1 ends. Changed and cleaned md wet diaper and md formed BM using aloe vesta and 3m products- dressEd Maureen and moved into the kitchen. Energy is still in the low level, and nose continues running.

• 12:30pm Lunch: chicken noodle soup, tuna salad, steamed carrots and coconut water. Coughed once.

• 1:00pm Oral care performed.

• 1:15pm Heart rate is 69, O2: 97. Reclined Maurreen’s chair one notch.

• Maureen’s energy seems higher after lunch and she is talkative also!

• Note: Another cup of water w/1/4 lemon juice was given to Maureen while sitting down after lunch, and we’re happy to tell that she had no problem drinking up to the last sip!

• 2:05pm We go to the bedroom for Maureen’s 2nd break. Diaper is md wet, changed and cleaned w/3m products. Positioned her on her Lt side and bed massage on. Break #2 begins at 2:15pm.

• 3:15pm Second break ends. Maureen’s diaper was md wet and she had a md formed BM. Cleaned and changed w/3m and aloe vesta product, dressed her and we go to the living room.

• 3:30pm Fruit snack. Enjoyed very much.

Daytime summary

Even though Maureen seems to be under the weather since yesterday, it looks like she’s fighting it pretty well. We saw some improvement throughout the day. Energy levels went back up after dropping earlier.
