Thursday, December 29, 2022 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep. She is laying on her left side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 7:30 am - Maureen is sound asleep.

• 7:41 am- Maureen had another episode- her eyes opened, her arms started twitching. Heart rate picked at 133 and stayed above 120 for about 10 minutes. Oxygen was in the 93-96 range . Twiching stopped , hands were relaxed, Maureen has been closing her eyes on and off. It's been 50 minutes since the episode started , the heart rate is still above 80, variates between 81-85.

• 8:30am- Maureen is asleep. Pulse is 84.

• 9:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping. Pulse is in the 80-83 range.

• 9:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. Pulse is in the 79-83 range. O2 is 95.

• 9:45 am- Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen . The diaper was medium wet. We applied 3 M products and positioned Maureen on the right side. We don't feel that Maureen is ready to start the day yet. O2 is 94, pulse-83.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is sleepy, closing her eyes from time to time. O2 is 93, Pulse- 79, T- 99.2.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is awake and alert enough to start the day . The diaper was dry. Dalia and I washed Maureen's upper body, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 10:50 am- Breakfast. Because of the late st, we decided to go with a smoothie, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax. Started with Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed four times . After the smoothie we administered Lisinopril and Loratadin.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

• 11:25 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 11:30 am- Eyes wash and eye drops.

• 11:35 am- Facial routine.

• Maureen's energy level is low. She is congested. We cleaned her nose with the manual suction and a lot of mucus came out. She did sneeze 4-5 times. She didn't cough out any phlegm as of now. Maureen is calm and relaxed in the chair, O2 is 96, pulse is higher than usual- 97.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch time- children noodle soup, chicken salad, steamed carrots, 12 oz bottle of coconut water. Maureen coughed 3 times, sneezed 3 times . No flem, no red face. O2 - 96, pulse stays in the 93-97 range .

• 1:30 pm- Oral care.

• 1:45 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and the only rest break for today. Her diaper was medium wet with a small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Positioned her on the left side at 2::00 pm. Temperature is 99.3, O2-96, pulse- 81.

• 2:30 pm- Maureen is still laying down. O2 is 95, pulse 78.

• 3:20 pm- We extended the only rest break for today by 20 minutes. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:35 pm- Fresh fruit snack.
