Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake, still looking sleepy. Tom informed that she woke up around 7:20am and had sips of water via swab.

8:20AM - Maureen closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

8:45AM - Still sleeping in and out.

9:00AM - Maureen looking more awake. In an upright position - administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:10AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes, no redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was medium wet - no vaginal discharges, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and moved Maureen to the kitchen.

9:20AM - Breakfast started with cut up pear and warm coffee with creamer, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and yogurt. She had 1/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed once, she was able to cough up the phlegm by herself.

No Metamucil today.

9:40AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

9:50AM - Oral care.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

Facial and hand care routine after.

10:15AM - Carolyn and Coleen came by to visit. Maureen enjoyed and was awake the entire time.

11:25AM - Maureen had a cup of lemon water.

We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Transferred to the kitchen for lunch.

12:40PM - BP: 106/63, P: 69bpm

Lunch was egg salad, beets and chicken noodle soup. She had yogurt as well and finished a cup of sparkling water. Maureen ate well. Coughed 2x.

1:35PM - Oral care.

She finished a cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break, diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed her and position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean ans dry, we proceed to dress Maureen and moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
