Maureen scratched her right forearm twice this week. She did so severely enough to draw a small amount of blood on both occasions. In both situations, Djon cleaned the wound with peroxide. He also clipped some of her nails and filed them down this morning to make them less sharp.
On a going forward basis, we need to be more proactive about managing her fingernails to prevent Maureen from scratching herself. It might be a good idea to ask her nail person to come to the house to give her a treatment.
