Maureen is a bit too short for the geri chair. As a result, her feet hang in the air when she is sitting in the full upright position.

It is optimal to give her feet some type of support. To date, most caregivers use the step stool in the kitchen. The step stool helps, but it is too tall. It forces Maureen's knees up too high. As a result, her feet cannot lie flat on the step stool.

We decided to purchase a footrest manufactured by Rubbermaid. See the attached images. Please make the new footrest a part of your routine when Maureen is sitting in the geri chair in the full upright position.
