Maureen was stirring a little bit around 7:30, little wet, off and on napping.
8:00, our day began with a bed bath using the warmed up wipes in the purple package. NYSTATIN was applied to the rash area under her left breast, a fresh shirt was put on, MUPIROCIN was put on the “bites”, CAVILON was applied to where the pressure sore was, and pull-ups and shorts were put on with socks and shoes. The sling was put in place and we moved to the Geri chair and brought to the kitchen for breakfast.
9:00, Carolyn gave her the thyroid medication with applesauce, I scrambled up some eggs and we had some breakfast. The rest of the morning meds were administered with applesauce, followed by oral care.
Barb Cutro popped over for a visit.
12:30PM - Clean and change in the bedroom. No bowel movement. Carolyn applied the second dose of Muciprocin Ointment to the "bug bites."
1:05PM - Lunch - Carolyn prepared 1/2 a turkey sandwich on toasted whole wheat, some homemade lentil soup and brussel sprouts. Maureen also enjoyed a 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water.
3:00PM - Clean and change in the bedroom. No bowel movement.
5:40PM - Clean and change in the bathroom. No bowel movement.
6:10PM - Dinner - Maureen enjoyed glazed salmon, wild rice, spinach, 1/2 a king crab leg and a smattering of mash potatoes.
7:00, 5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5ml of VIMPAT were administered, removal of partials, oral care, cleanup with warm washcloth and changing to a fresh t-shirt for bed.
7:20, we used the Hoyer lift to transfer to the bed, changed a medium wet pull-ups, to a fresh diaper, applied the following …
