Sunday, Sept. 18, 2023 - Daytime Summary

8:00AM - Came in this morning with Tom at bedside with Maureen. Maureen was already awake facing her left side, sipping in water via swab.

8:25AM - Raised the bed up and while Maureen in upright position, we administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Maureen looked fully awake and is ready to start her day. We washed her upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacral area and Cavilon cream on diaper folds. Finished dressing, transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - We started breakfast with 4oz prune juice with 1/4 cap MiraLAX. Maureen enjoyed her omelette and quarter a cup (coffee cup) of coffee and couple spoonfuls of yogurt. No coughs.

9:40AM - Deacon Andy came in early for Maureen's regular Sunday service.

9:50AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

9:55AM - BP: 110/70, 62

10:10AM - Oral care.

10:20AM - Reclined geri chair for Maureen's comfort. We did facial and hand care.

10:45AM - Maureen's energy slowly went down at this time, looking sleepy but stayed awake the whole tome.

11:15AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned Maureen to face on her right side starting at 11:25am.

12:25PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed. Transferred to the kitchen.

12:40PM - Lunch is oatmeal/fruit smoothie. Maureen finished her 12oz of sparkling water. No coughs.

1:10PM - Maureen was leaning forward a little bit, we reclined geri chair. Oral care.

1:55PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned to face on her left side at 2:05pm.

2:55PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Transferred to the front room.

3:10PM - Massage starting with Sister Roberta.

3:35PM - Fruit snack time (melons). Maureen enjoyed it as usual. No coughs. Carolyn came as well to visit Maureen.

5:05PM - Dinner was chicken teriyaki with rice and broccoli brought by Carolyn which Maureen enjoyed very much. Finished a cup and half of lemon water. Coughed 2x, sneezed 2x.

5:50PM - BP: 115/75, 69

6:00PM - Administered 5mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.

6:20PM - Oral care.

6:40PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was extra heavy wet. Cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion on both hands and legs/feet. Positioned Maureen to face her left side with 2 wedges on the back and pillow in between legs.

7:00PM - Maureen's asleep.
