Sunday October 3, 2021 Swingshift Update

  • 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in the recliner.

  • 5:00pm Maureen’s pull-up is dry. Transferred her to bed using the Hoyer lift. Maureen is lying on her right side with two green wedge pillows behind her and white block pillow in between her legs. Maureen will rest in bed until 6:00pm.

  • 6:15pm Maureen’s pull-up is wet. Cleaned thoroughly with 3M cleanser spray and put on a fresh pair. Transferred Maureen to Geri chair using the Hoyer lift.

  • 6:35pm Dinnertime. Maureen had another serving of chicken from Raising Canes and a shrimp salad with a full cup of water.

  • 7:15pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care and facial cleanse with application of Cetaphil moisturizing lotion followed.

  • 7:40pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is dry; put on a new diaper. Ciclo applied to both right and left big toe. Vicks applied to chest. Maureen is turned to her left side with two wedge pillows placed behind her and white block pillow in between her legs. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Head of the bed elevated.
