Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Came in with Tom at bedside with Maureen. Maureen was sleeping in and out.

8:20AM - Raise bed up and in upright position, we administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with applesauce.

8:50AM - Maureen's ready to start her day. We washed her upper body with warmed purple wipes. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

9:15AM - Breakfast started with 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX. Maureen had sips of coffee, omelette and yogurt. She enjoyed her breakfast. Coughed once.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1/2 cap.

9:40AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with applesauce.

9:55AM - Oral care.

10:05AM - Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort. Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen closing her eyes for a nap.

11:00AM - Maureen woke up from nap. Finished her 1 cup of lemon water.

11:35AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Postioned to face her right side starting at 11:45am.

12:45PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

12:55PM - BP: 110/70, 65bpm

1:00PM - Lunch was oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1tsp flaxseed, 12oz sparkling water, and yogurt. Coughed once.

1:25PM - Oral care.

1:45PM - Carolyn arrived to visit. Maureen's sitting comfortably on the chair, looking more awake after lunch.

2:15PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Positioned to face her left side.

3:05PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry, finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

3:10PM - Sister Roberta arrived for Maureen's regular Sunday massages.

3:50PM - Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen enjoyed fruit snacks. Coughed once.

4:30PM - Maureen snoozing and looking relaxed while Sister Roberta did the massages. Also, had her finger nails trimmed.

5:15PM - BP: 115/75, 68bpm

5:25PM - Dinner is honey garlic chicken, spaetzle, carrots & asparagus, and baked apples prepared by Carolyn. Had 3/4 cup of lemon water. Maureen liked dinner much. Sneezed once.

6:10PM - Administered 5mg Olanzapine with applesauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.

6:35PM - Oral care.

6:45PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream on folds and Cetaphil lotion on both arms and legs. Position to face her left side.

7:00PM - Maureen is sleeping.
