Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake when we came in and lying on her left side.

8:15AM - We raised the bed and in an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:30AM - Maureen was closing her eyes in and out, looking sleepy. We will give her more time.

8:50AM - We started Maureen's day by washing her upper body with warmed purple wipes. Redness spot on right underarm is visible, we cleaned and dried the skin, then applied Nystatin cream. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed it - applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds.

**Maureen has been coughing while on bed, trying to cough up phlegm. Used suction machine to aid.

9:10AM - Started breakfast with 6oz of prune juice, omelette with sips of coffee, and yogurt. Maureen finished a cup of lemon water, too. Coughed 3x.

9:50AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

10:05AM - Oral care. Reclined geri chair to one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

10:10AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen looking comfortable sitting on chair, snoozing in and out.

11:20AM - Deacon Adny arrived for Sunday service.

11:30AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned to face her right side at 11:40am.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Then, headed to the kitchen.

12:50PM - BP: 110/70, P: 75bpm

12:55PM - Lunch was oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 12 oz sparkling water and yogurt. Maureen coughed once and sneezed 3x.

1:25PM - Oral care. Reclined geri one notch after.

1:45PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

2:10PM - Transferred to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned to face her left side.

3:05PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with large soft bowel movement. Cleaned thoroughly, and changed. Finished dressing then transferred to the front room.

3:15PM - Sister Roberta arrived for Maureen's regular Sunday massage.

3:45PM - Maureen enjoyed her fruit snack (melon). Coughed 2x.

5:05PM - Dinner is chicken dumplings with veggie and half a cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once and sneezed 2x.

5:40PM - BP: 108/70, 65bpm

6:00PM - Administered 5mg Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.

6:15PM - Oral care.

6:30PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream on folds. Nystatin powder applied on red spots on right underarm (2nd night). Positioned facing her left with 2 wedges on back and pillow in between legs.

6:55PM - Maureen is sleeping.
