Sunday, July 14 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is awake, laying on her left side with Tom next to her and giving her water sips via swab.

  • 8:30 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8: 35 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was dry. Tom and I washed Maureen's upper body. No redness observed. Dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

  • 8:50 am- Breakfast- Omelette , 6 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of water, sips of coffee. Maureen coughed twice.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

  • 9:30 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with apple sauce.

  • 9:45 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

  • 10:15 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution and Albuterol.

  • 10:40 - Facial routine.

  • 10:50 am- Maureen is taking a nap in the chair.

  • 11:20 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. Tom and I still changed it . There was a little brown-ish discharge on Maureen's diaper. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:30 pm.

  • 12:30 pm- Maureen's first rest break ended. . Her diaper was medium wet. Tom and I performed a cleane and change routine. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

  • 12:40 pm- Lunch- Oatmeal smoothie, cup of coconut water. Maureen coughed twice.

  • 1:15 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair.

  • 1:50 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on the left side at 2:00 pm.

  • 3:00 pm- Maureen's second rest break is over now. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:10 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta's treatment.

  • 4:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, pear and kiwi.

  • 4:45 pm- Deacon Andy came for Sunday service.

  • 5:00 pm- Maureen's diaper is dry.

  • 5:05 pm-- Dinner- Sesame chicken, cup of water. Two coughs.

  • 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.

  • 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Cleaned Maureen's face and hands and applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands, feet and legs. Positioned her on the left side.

  • 6:55 pm- Maureen is asleep.

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, already awake. No signs of pain or any distress. Tom’s giving her sips of water via swabs. 9:35AM- We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg

 
 
 
Sunday April 19th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen is asleep -10:00am Maureen is awake, we changed her diaper she was medium wet w/medium VD odorless and cloudy. Applied sureprep to her sacrum area and cavilon between her inner thighs
