Sunday July 12,2026 Daytime Update

Tom’s update

5:00 - Mattha said the night was quiet after the initial diaper change at 10pm.

Maureen was sleeping comfortably, so I went upstairs.

8:00 - I repositioned Maureen to her right side, she woke up briefly, but right back to sleep.

Morning vitals are …

Temperature is 97.6°

Pulse is 84 BPM

Oxygen level is 92%

9:30- Maureens on her right side,

awake and Coughing , Tom did the suction once.

Checking Maureen Vitals Temperature is 97.4°

Pulse is 94 BPM

Oxygen level is 92%

She is wheezing a bit, no signs of distress, showing some pain by moaning and forehead-crinkled.

She went back to sleep.

10:20AM- Maureen is awake, we start moving her. We place Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine and Tylenol 500mg Tab all with apple sauce.

Maureen finished 5oz of cold thickened water.

Check BP - 110/80

10:40AM-Morning care. Wash her upper extremities with warm purple wipes. Diaper was dry but has medium VD brownish/blood odorless. We washed and dry Maureen’s left breast using ( skintegrity and gauze sponges)

We dressed her and moved to the front room.

11:15AM-Giving her neb treatment with Albuterol.

11:30AM- Breakfast - scrambled egg with tomatoes, onions and cheese with banana finished 5oz thickened orange Juice

Maureen ate well.

Administered 10mg of Citerizine HCL and 20ml cough syrup (Geri-Tussin)all with apple sauce. Coughed2x  with phlegm suction2x.

Maureen Brother (Bart) came to visit brought some pretty flowers for Maureen.

12:15PM- close her eyes for a nap.

1:20PM-  she had a small bowl of honeydew melon cut small.

Maureen took 4oz of thickened root beer. Giving her 2nd 20ml cough syrup (Geri-Tussin)with apple sauce. Cough2x suction2x

2:00PM- We transferred her to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was dry. We position her to face the right side. Coughed3x suction3x lot’s of phlegm and sneezing.

2:45PM-  Rest break ended already. Diaper was dry .We dressed her and moved to the front room.

2:50PM- Give her 2nd neb treatment with Albuterol.

3:00PM- Father May came, Colleen, Carolyn and Tommy.

3:50PM- Maureen had 3oz  of thickened root beer and  banana bread for a snack. Cough3x and sneezing, suction2x

4:35PM- check diaper, still dry

4:50PM - Dinner - Pasta Spaghetti . Maureen finished her food and enjoyed eating. She finished 4oz of thickened root beer. Cough2x with phlegm, sneezed a lot suction2x

5:25PM-Administered 5mg of Olanzapine 12.5ml Vimpat and cough syrup 40ml (Gerri-Tussin) all with apple sauce.

5:35- Oral care.

6:10PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet and medium VD brownish odorless. We cleaned and changed, applied Cavilon cream on posterior and inner thighs. Applied Cetaphil lotion on face, arms and legs. washed and dry Maureen’s left breast using ( skintegrity and gauze sponges) Position to face the left side with pillow in between legs.

6:25PM - Maureen's sleeping.
