Sunday January 9, 2022 Dayshift Update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake and chatting to herself.

• 9:00am Our day begins. Filed Maureen’s big toes and applied Tolcylen. Allowed to air dry for 10 minutes. Diaper is wet - cleaned, applied barrier film, followed by Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a fresh diaper. Cleaned the inner folds of Maureen’s skin with Aloe Vesta cleansing foam. No redness observed. Transferred Maureen to the Geri chair using the Hoyer lift.

• 9:18am Spoonful of honey and half thyroid pill with applesauce.

• 9:40am Breakfast - Ham, cheese, and tomato omelet, sausages, banana, and 4 oz of prune juice with a cup of water.

  • Maureen coughed 3 times. No red face.

• 10:15am Administered Lisinopril with applesauce and 20mL Robitussin.

• 10:20am Oral care.

• 10:25am Facial routine.

• 10:40am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner.

• 11:35am We headed to the bedroom for a change. Maureen’s diaper is wet and she had a medium, formed bowel movement. We cleaned up and put on a new diaper. Maureen is lying on her left side with two green wedge pillows placed behind her. She will rest in bed for one hour starting at 11:52am.

• 12:55pm Rest period is over. Maureen’s diaper is wet - we cleaned up and put on a new diaper. Transferred Maureen to the Geri chair using the e Hoyer lift.

• 1:15pm Lunchtime - Homemade mushroom soup, turkey sandwich, and sliced tomato with a bottle of organic coconut water.

  • Maureen coughed 2 times.

• 2:15pm Administered 20mL Robitussin. Oral care after.

• 2:35pm We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner.

• 3:30pm Fruit snack time. No coughing.
