Sunday January 2, 2022 Dayshift Update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake. She is lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen fell back to sleep for about 30 minutes.

• 9:10am Our day begins. Field Maureen’s big toes, applied Tolcylen, and allowed to air dry for 10 minutes. Diaper is wet - cleaned up using the 3M cleanser spray, applied no sting barrier film, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. No redness anywhere in the inner folds of Maureen’s skin. Transferred Maureen to the Geri chair using the Hoyer lift.

• 9:42am Spoonful of honey followed by half thyroid medication with applesauce.

• 9:45am Breakfast - ham, cheese, and tomato omelet with a banana, cup of water, and cup of prune juice.

• 10:12am Administered Lisinopril with applesauce.

• 10:15am Oral care.

• 10:30am Facial routine.

• 10:45am We headed to the front room. Maureen is lying on her recliner watching tv.

• 12:50pm We headed to the bedroom for a change. Maureen’s diaper is wet - cleaned up, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper.

• 1:10pm Lunchtime - turkey sandwich and potatoes au gratin with a cup of water.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• 2:20 We headed to the bedroom for a change. Maureen’s diaper is wet - cleaned up and put on a new diaper. Maureen is lying on her left side with two green wedge pillows behind her and the white block pillow placed in between her legs. She will rest in bed starting at 2:32pm.

• 3:50pm Rest period is over. Maureen’s diaper is dry. We transferred Maureen to the day chair and headed to the front room.
