Sunday, January 11, Daytime update

• 9:30 am- Maureen is sleeping, laying on her left side. Tom said that she was awake around 8:40 , was receptive to water via swab and went back to sleep after .

• 10:10 am- Maureen is awake now.

• 10:15 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 10:20 am- We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner tights. We washed Maureen’s upper body, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 10:45 am- Maureen had 10 oz of lemon water.

• 10:50 am- Breakfast- omelette, half of banana, 10 oz of electrolyte water. Maureen coughed four times, sneezed a few times. Her nose was running during sneezing.

• 11:30 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with applesauce.

• 11:35 am- Oral care.

• 11:40 am- Facial and hand care routine.

• 12:30 pm- Maureen rested on the recliner, took about 15 minutes nap.

• 1:00 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, 10 oz of coconut water. Maureen coughed three times, sneezed a few times.

• 1:40 pm- Oral care.

• 1:50 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her . Positioned Maureen on her right side at 2:05 pm.

• 2:40 pm- Maureen’s rest break ended. Her diaper was dry. We dressed her and headed to the front room.

• 2;50 pm- Sister Roberta arrived at the house.

• 3:30 pm - Fruit snack- watermelon. Two coughs.

• 4:00 pm - Maureen had 10 oz of sparkling water.

• 4:30 pm - Administered 1 crushed 500 mg tablet of Cipro with applesauce.

• 4:50 pm- Dinner- pork chop, mushed potatoes, steamed veggies, 5 oz of water. Two coughs.

• 5:40 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.

• 5:50 pm - Evening oral care.

• 6:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the night. Her diaper was heavy wet with a medium soft bowel movement in. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion to her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side.
