Sunday, December 24, 2023: Dayshift Summary

8:00 AM. Arrived Maureen is awake.

8:25 AM. Put Maureen on an upright position. Administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:30 AM. Maureen seems sleepy and closing her eyes.

8:50 AM. Maureen seemed more awake. Started her day by washing face and upper body with warm purple wipes. No redness noticed. Diaper was medium wet; cleaned, dried and changed. Applied Cavilon spray on sacrum and Cavilon cream om the rest of perineal area. Finished dressing her up then head to the kitchen for breakfast.

9:15 AM. Started breakfast with 8oz of Prune juice. Followed by an omelet and a cup of lemon water and coffee. She also had some yogurt with her 10mg Loratidine . **coughed 1x

10:00 AM. Oral, facial and hand care done. Reclined her chair one notch for comfort.

10:30 AM. Maureen had a quarter cup of water.

11:00 AM. Bart came to visit Maureen.

11:15 AM. Deacon Andy came for Sunday service.

11:30 AM. Transferred Maureen back to the bedroom for 1st rest break. The diaper was medium wet. Cleaned, dried and changed. Positioned her facing right side.

12:40 PM. 1st rest break is done. Diaper was dry. Proceed transferring to kitchen for lunch.

12:50 PM PM. BP was 110/70, pulse was 69bpm

1:00 PM. Caroline came for a visit and brought lunch.

1:05 PM. Lunch was shrimp salad and coconut water. Maureen enjoyed it very much. Coughed 2x

1:30 PM. Oral care done.

2:10 PM. Transferred Maureen back to bedroom for 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Cleaned, dried and changed. Positioned her facing left side.

2:45 PM. Shampoo and blowdry Maureen's hair. Transferred her to the front room after. Sister Kathleen and family also came to visit her.

4:00 PM. Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

4:30 PM. Checked Maureen's diaper and it's dry.

4:45 PM. BP was 105/60 and pulse was 65bpm

5:00 PM. Dinner was mixed fruits and lemon water. She finished a whole cup of lemon water.

5:45 PM. Administered 5mg of Olanzapine and 12.5ml of Vimpat with apple sauce.

6:15 PM. Oral and denture care done.

6:30 PM. Transferred Maureen back to bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet. Cleaned, dried and changed. Applied Cavilon cream om her perineal area and Cetaphil lotion on her arms and legs. Positioned her facing left side.
