Sunday April 24, 2022 Update

• 8:00am Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:48am Our day begins. Tolcylen applied to both big toes. There is some redness under Maureen’s waist - I gently cleaned this area and applied a thin layer of Nystatin. Diaper is medium wet - we cleaned, applied no sting barrier film, Cavilon barrier cream, and a new diaper. We headed to the kitchen after.

• 9:09am Spoonful Manuka honey followed by half thyroid pill with applesauce.

• 9:35am Breakfast - banana, onion tomato ham cheese omelet, bacon, 4 oz prune juice, and a cup of water.

• 10:01am Administered Lisinopril and Claritin with applesauce.

• 10:08am Oral care.

• 10:14am Morning facial routine including arms and hands.

• 10:29am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting in the recliner watching this week’s episode of Survivor.

• 11:20am Deacon Andy is here to give Maureen Holy Communion.

• 11:40am We headed to the bedroom for rest period #1. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:55am.

• 12:55pm Rest period #1 is through. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and changed.

• 1:12pm Lunch - half egg sandwich, peas, riced cauliflower, and a 12-ounce bottle of organic coconut water.

• 1:44pm Oral care.

• 1:57pm We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner.

• 3:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest period #2. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 3:15pm.

• 4:15pm Maureen is asleep - we will allow her extra time in bed.

• 4:37pm Rest period #2 is through. Maureen’s diaper is lightly wet - we cleaned and changed and headed to the front room after.

• 4:52pm Fruit snack.

• 6:00pm We headed to the kitchen for dinner. Maureen enjoyed chicken, coleslaw, and onion rings from Chicago Inn with a cup of water.

• 6:53pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with applesauce and 7.5mL VIMPAT.

• 7:07pm Oral care.

• 7:11pm Night time facial routine including arms and hands. Vicks applied to chest.

• 7:22pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Diaper is medium wet - cleaned, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. Tolcylen applied to both big toes. Maureen is lying on her left side.
