Sunday 6 - 7 - 26 Daytime summary

9:30 AM - Maureen is still sleeping comfortably


10:00 AM - Maureen is stirring about a little bit, so I went in and gave her a little water via swab, not quite ready to move, but getting ready shortly.


10:30 AM - we sat Maureen up in bed and administered 75 mcg of crushed LEVOTHYROXINE, mixed in applesauce.

Her first albuterol treatment followed immediately, we changed Maureen from a dry diaper, used the SURE PREP to her sacrum area, a large amount of brownish, odorless VD was noticed on her diaper, Cavilon lotion was applied to the appropriate areas and we got her dressed for the day.


10:45 AM - we transferred out to the front room, Joanna prepared a scrambled omelette for breakfast along with some diced pear and 10 ounces of lemon water with thickener.


11:00 AM - Djon and his family came for a short visit, everyone is doing well the boys are getting so big. We even took a couple pictures to put on the frame.


11:30 AM - breakfast has concluded with 20 mL of Geri tussin in applesauce, followed by oral care and spa time. We are enjoying some soft music and visiting with our guests. Maureen coughed a couple times and had to be suctioned once.


12:30 PM - Djon and family has now left, it is now quiet time … catching some game shows.


Maureen took a nice 40 minute nap.


1:10 PM - Joanna brought Maureen another 10 ounces of thickened sparkling water, which she drank down pretty well, while we took a look at the loaded picture frame.


2:00 PM - Andy arrived to bring communion to us, and then we transferred to the bedroom for a break off the sacrum.


2:20 PM - We clean and changed from a medium wet diaper with a medium formed B/M. After getting Maureen settled, we put her on her left side, in case she had more.


3:30 PM - Break time is over and Maureen still has a clean diaper, we get dressed and transferred back to the front room to a container of strawberry yogurt and 11 ounces of coconut water. Tommy came over for a nice visit and to have dinner with us.


4:20 PM - Nebulizer treatment #2 … with Albuterol.


4:30 PM - Tonight’s menu consisted of breaded pork chops with mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and applesauce. Maureen finished another 10 ounces of thickened lemon water.


41 ounces of liquid was consumed today.


5:30 PM - Evening meds, 20ml, Geri-tussin in applesauce with a crushed OLANZAPINE tablet, as was 12.5 ml of VIMPAT.

Clean up and oral care followed immediately.


6:00 PM - We transferred to the bedroom, cleaned and changed from a heavy wet diaper, applied Cavilon and Cetaphil to appropriate areas, buttoned her up and propped her up on her left side.


Evening vitals were …


Temperature 97.4°


Blood oxygen level is 96% and the pulse is 87 bpm
