September 15 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is awake. Her diaper is dry.

• 7:30AM - Maureen remains awake. Diaper remains dry.

• Our day officially began @ 8:12AM. Maureen is in good form—a bit more groggy than normal. Her diaper was wet. Djon cleaned her with warmed wipes from the purple packet. Next, he cleaned the Maureen's inner thighs and inner buttocks areas with 3M Cavilon Cleansing Spray. Last buy not least, he applied the 3M Cavilon Barrier cream to the same areas. Next, Djon used one of the 3M No Sting Barrier Film wands on what is left of the pressure sore. Last but not least, he applied the Mupirocin Ointment to the two "bug bites."

• Breakfast service commended @ 8:37AM. Before getting the part started, Djon administered the thyroid pill. Position in the geri chair continues to be very good. Maureen was listing a bit to the right. As usual, we inserted the green wedge pillows horizontally on her left and right to ensure she sits perfectly straight.

• Maureen will consume 1/2 a glass of prune juice this morning.

• General observations @ 8:54AM> Maureen's eyes are almost completely wide open. Her arms are positioned mid torso—somewhat rigidly. Hands are clenched but not too tightly. She coughed 4-5 times during breakfast. This is a bit more frequent than normal. There also was one sneeze. Maureen is a bit sleepy this morning. She nodded off three times as of 9:26AM.

• 9:23AM - Djon just administered the blog pressure pill and baby aspirin.

• 10:07AM - Maureen's pull up was wet. Djon also smelled some gas. We decided to head to the bathroom. Maureen sat on the commode for 15 minutes. Her posture was excellent. She sat upright pretty much completely unassisted the entire time. At about the five minute mark, she urinated a decent amount into the toiler. Djon thoroughly cleaned her. We put on a new pull up and headed out for a walk.

• 10:35AM - Our stroll through the neighborhood began. We covered just short of a mile in total. It was 11:11AM when we got into the family room. Maureen's pull up is dry.

• 11:35AM - Organic fruit smoothie time. Mmm mmm good.

• 12:30PM - Kathy came over for a visit and shampoo and style Maureen's hair.

• 1:15PM - Lunch - Djon prepared mushroom soup, 1/2 a bologna sandwich on toasted whole wheat and left over cauliflower from Saturday.

• 1:30PM - Barb Cutro popped in for a visit

• 2:20PM - Maureen's pull up was very wet. We took her to the bedroom. Djon thoroughly cleaned Maureen using the 3M Cavilon Cleanse Spray. He also applied the afternoon dose of Mupirocin Ointment to the two "bug bites."
