Saturday, May 21, 2022 Daytime Update

8:00 Maureen is slowly waking up.

8:20am Maureen is awake and ready to start her day. We started off with a bed bath using Aloe Vesta cleansing foam and water. Afterwards we dried her skin and applied Nystatin under her waist and breasts because of observed redness in these areas. Her diaper was medium wet. We changed it and after detailed wash of the area with No-Rinse Skin Cleaner, we also applied 3M Cavilon No Sting Barrier Film, as well as 3M Cavilon Durable Barrier Cream. After dressing Maureen up Marie performed a set of exercises with Maureen. Then, using the Hoyer lift we transferred Maureen to the Geri chair, and we headed to the kitchen for her breakfast.

9:25am Breakfast time. Maureen drank some water and ate a spoon of Manuka honey accompanied with an apple sauce with her thyroid pill. Next, Maureen ate a bowl of apple oatmeal and a banana. She drank half a cup of her prune juice.

9:45am Maureen finished her apple sauce with Lisinopril and Claritin pills. We also applied Flonase nasal spray.

9:55am Oral Care. We brushed Maureen's teeth and made sure there is no food left in her mouth.

10:05am We applied moisturising creme Crème de la Mer onto Maureen's face as well as the serum on her hands. She drank some water.

10:20am We headed to the living room. Maureen watched "Let's make a deal" and "America Says" sitting in her recliner. She was really chatty this morning.

10:50am Maureen had her fruit smoothie.

11:50am Rest Period #1. We headed with Maureen to the bedroom. We changed the diaper, which was medium wet, she had very small, formed bowel movement. We cleaned her and allowed to rest on her right side.

12:45pm Maureen was getting her hair bath. Her diaper was medium wet with a medium, bowel movement. We cleaned her and applied the barrier cream.

1:05pm Lunch time. Maureen ate a ham and cheese toast with potato salad and a cup of coconut water. Then, she had her favorite cookie.

1:40pm Oral Care

2:00pm Rest Period #2. We headed to the bedroom. Maureen rested faced on her left side. The diaper was medium wet.

3:10pm Rest period #2 is over, we change a medium wet diaper, waistline is looking better this afternoon. As Marie and I were transferring Maureen to my recliner, Cheryl came for a visit. Marie prepared a bowl of fresh fruit and Maureen enjoyed while watching some of her favorite game shows.
