8:00am Maureen is awake. She is lying on her left side.
8:08am Our morning begins with a bed bath. We saw no areas of redness on Maureen’s skin. Applied Tolcylen to both big toes. Diaper is heavily wet - we cleaned up, applied no sting barrier film, Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. We finished dressing Maureen.
8:29am Marie is helping Maureen through a set of stretches and exercises in bed.
9:04am Spoonful of Manuka honey and administered thyroid pill with applesauce.
9:08am Breakfast - oatmeal, banana, 4 oz prune juice, cup of water.
9:33am Administered Lisinopirl and Claritin with applesauce.
9:36am Oral care.
9:41am Facial routine including arms and hands.
9:53am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner watching tv.
Our morning today went really well. Maureen was full of energy the whole morning through - she was all smiles and talkative. She coughed only once during breakfast.
10:30am Organic fruit smoothie.
11:30am We headed to the bedroom for rest period. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet and she had a medium sized, formed bowel movement. We cleaned and put on a new diaper. Maureen will lie on her right side starting at 11:45am.
1:00pm Since Maureen will only have one rest period today, we decided to give her a little extra time. Diaper is medium wet - we cleaned, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper.
1:10pm I washed Maureen’s hair. Marie dried and styled after.
1:30pm Lunch - half ham sandwich, homemade lentil soup, bottle of organic coconut water. Maureen had a serving of rice pudding for dessert.
1:47pm Oral care.
Our afternoon also went really well today. Maureen was full of energy, talking and smiling with us. She coughed twice during lunch.
2:15pm We headed to the bedroom for a change in preparation for Sister Roberta’s coming appointment. Diaper is lightly wet - we cleaned up and put on a new diaper. We headed to the front room after.

3:30pm Fruit snack.
