Saturday March 23, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake , lying on her left side. Tom tells, she’s been in and out of sleep since 6, had sips of water waking up.

• 8:20am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:25am Our day starts giving Maureen a full body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Marie and I cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to her sacrum and barrier cream to inner thighs. No redness observed. Dressed and continued to wash her hair, transferred to the kitchen after.

• 8:50am Maureen had half pear followed by 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax.

• 9:05am Blow dry and styled Maureen’s hair.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:15am Breakfast: oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 3 prunes and couple spoons of Greek yogurt, a cup or lemon water. Maureen coughed once during breakfast.

• 9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: full cap.

• 9:40am Morning oral care.

• 9:50am Facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen sits relaxed and awake watching a Disney movie.

• 11:00am Blood pressure: 102/60, P 74.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed then positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Sweet peas soup, chicken salad, guacamole, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. No coughs.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch during lunch, Maureen was leaning forward.

• 1:35pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen is awake and in good spirits while listening to music.

• Kathy visited Maureen.

• Maureen had half cup of lemon water before taking her break.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Cleaned and changed a heavy wet diaper then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/kiwi).
