Saturday March 12, 2022 Dayshift Update

8:00am Maureen is awake. She is lying on her left side.
8:05am Our day begins with a complete bed bath. We saw no areas of redness on Maureen’s skin. Tolcylen applied to both big toes. Diaper is heavy wet - we cleaned up, applied no sting barrier film, Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper. We finished dressing.
8:38am Marie is helping Maureen through a set of stretches and exercises in bed.
8:57am We transferred Maureen to the Geri chair using the Hoyer lift and headed to the kitchen.
9:05am Spoonful if Manuka Honey followed by thyroid pill with applesauce.
9:09am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, cup of water, 6 oz prune juice.
9:36am 5mg Lisinopril with applesauce.
9:39am Oral care.
9:45am Morning facial routine.
9:52am We headed to the front room. Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner watching tv.
Our morning today went really well. Maureen was active and engaged from the moment we started our day. She was talkative and all smiles. No coughing during breakfast.
10:30am Fruit Smoothie.
11:20am We headed to the bedroom For a change and rest break. Diaper is light wet - we cleaned up and put on a new diaper. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:30am.
12:30pm Maureen has been asleep for about 15 minutes. We will begin to get her ready for lunch when she wakes up.
12:43pm Maureen is now awake. Diaper is heavy wet and she had a medium, formed bowel movement. We cleaned up, applied Cavilon barrier cream, and put on a new diaper.
12:50pm I washed Maureen’s hair in bed. We transferred Maureen to the Geri chair after using the Hoyer lift and Marie will dry and style her hair.
1:10pm Lunch - gyro with fries and tzatziki sauce with a bottle of organic coconut water.
1:36pm Oral care.
2:15pm We headed to the bedroom for a change. Maureen’s diaper is lightly wet - we cleaned up and put on a new diaper. We headed to the front room after.
2:30pm Sister Roberta is here for Maureen’s weekly treatment.
