Saturday, June 29, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is already awake - lying kn her left side. Tom is at bedside and informed that she woke up around 7:30am.

8:20AM - In an upright position, we administer 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:40AM - Maureen looking ready to start her day. Me and Tom gave her a warm bed bath using water and Cetaphil cleanser. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. We also washed her hair. Finished dressing then, proceed to the kitchen to dry and style Maureen's hair.

9:20AM - Breakfast started with 8oz of prune juice with 1/2 cap of MiraLAX, coffee with creamer, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Coughed once.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1/2 cap

9:50AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie. **Reclined geri chair after for Maureen's comfort.

10:00AM - Oral care. Followed by facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap. She's sitting comfortably with hands relaxed.

11:10AM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dress Maureen then, transferred to the kitchen.

12:47PM - BP: 108/63, P: 72 bpm

Lunch was hummus and parmesan crisps, sweet pea soup, yogurt and chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. No cough.

1:30PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

2:00PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. She's listening to the music, does

not look sleepy at all.

2:30PM - It's time for Maureen's 2nd rest break. We moved her to the bedroom, diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed her. Finished dressing then, moved to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
