8:00am Maureen is asleep lying on her Lt side with Tom by her side.
8:40am Maureen jus opened her eyes, Tom tells me she’s been in and out of sleep since 5:30.
8:50am We are starting our day giving Maureen a full bed bath wi/purple warmed cloth and aloe vesta. Marie and I cleaned md wet diaper and sm bowel movement, applied barrier film on her sacrum area barrier cream to her privates. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:15am Levothyroxine administered. Breakfast: oatmeal, banana, prune juice w/1/2 cap miralax. 9:50am Lisinopril and loratadine administered. 9::55am 20ml Gualfenesin administered. Coughed 3 times during breakfast. Reclined Geri chair one notch.
Maureen still has a runny nose and sounds congested.
10:00am Saline and albuterol Neb therapy.
10:30am Oral care and facial routine performed. Right after Maureen’s snoozing; sitting comfortably, arms are totally relaxed. Pulse: 82, O2: 94.
11:15 Smoothie. Energy level is low now.
11:40am Headed Maureen to the bedroom for first break. Cha and cleaned md wet diaper w/3m products. Lying on her Rt side and bed massage on break #1 stars at 11:47am. Brian and Carolyn came by- nice company!
12:40pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, we continue to wash Maureen’s hair to see the water esti Mila te her to pee, but at the end diaper was still dry. Dressed her and we headed to the kitchen.
1:00 pm Blow dried and styled Maureen‘s hair.
1:20pm Lunch: beans soup, chicken salad, guacamole, coconut water, cup of lemon water. Coughed once. During lunch Maureen’s energy seems to pick u and congestion wasn’t much.
2:00pm Oral care. Reclined chair one notch.
2:30 Snoozing in the chair. Gualfenesin administered.
2:50pm We headed to the bedroom. Cleaned and changed md wet diaper and positioned Maureen on her Lt side, With bed massage on break #2 starts at 3:00pm.
3:50pm Diaper was dry but we changed anyway. Applied barrier cream, dressed and we go to the front room for fruit snack.
Daytime summary
Today Maureen energy was very low during the, congestion was minimal; however, energy picked up during lunch and by then her nose wasn’t running anymore. Happy to see her getting better !!!
