Saturday February 25, 2023 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’ lying on her Lt side and awake. As per Tom, she had a mild - short episode around 6:00 this morning. He administered .1mi Lorazepam and Maureen calmed down; since then, she’s been in and out of sleep.

• 8:30am Maureen has been closing her eyes from time to time, she’s receptive to water via swap.

• 8:55am Maureen is ready to start the day. Marrie and I performed a full bed body wash using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta, cleaned and cleaned md wet diaper and applied 3m barrier and cream. We observed no redness in her body except for her Rt elbow fold that still has some redness, we applied a light layer of nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:25am Levothyroxine w/apple sauce administered.

• 9:30am Breakfast: oatmeal, banana, 8oz prune juice w/1/2 cap miralax, cup of lemon water. Coughed 3 times, sneezed twice.

Daily dosage of Miralax: 1/2 cap.

• 10:00am Administered Lisinopril and 1 crushed tablet of Ciprofloxaxin (500mg) with apple sauce. Reclined Geri chair one notch

• With the help of the manual suction, we cleared Maureen‘s nose so she can breath freely.

• 10:10am Facial routine.

• Maureen seems sleepy and tired today and went snoozing right after her facial.

• 11:00am Half smoothie, Maureen’s eyes were closed half the time while having her smoothie. No coughs.

• 11:40am We headed Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Changed and cleaned md wet diaper and positioned on her Rt side starting at 11:55.

• 12:50pm First break ends. We cleaned and cleaned md wet diaper with 3m products. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 1:05pmLunch: cauliflower soup, shrimp salad, mango and pineapple salad, bottle coconut water. We reclined Maureen’s chair one notch during lunch, she was leaning forward. Coughed 3 time, sneezed twice during lunch.

• 2:20pm Headed Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Changed and cleaned and changed light wet diaper and re-applied Cavilon cream. Positioned on her Lt side break #2 starts at 2:35.

• 3:20pm Second break ends. Cleaned and changed md wet diaper and md formed bowel movement using 3m products, and reapplied Cavilon cream. Dressed and we go to the front room.

• 3:40pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack!

Daytime summary

After having an episode first time in the morning, Maureen was sleepy and tired throughout the day. No congestion was observed, few coughs but use of the suction pump wasn’t necessary. At the end of the day, she’s calm an relaxed. 🙏
