8:00am Maureen is asleep lying on her left with Tom by her bedside. He tells the following: 6:00am - opened her eyes, slight twitching, O2 97, Pulse 76, and temp was 99.4.
She only had 2 sips of water via the swab. I held her hand and sang songs, she calmly went back to sleep around 6:20. 7:25am - she opened her eyes again O2 96, Pulse 77 and temp was 99.2 Closing her eyes again.
8:30am Maureen sleeps calmly. She recently opened her eyes and went back to sleep soon after. Temperature: 99
9:00am Maureen is still sleeping. Temperature: 98.9
9:20am Repositioned Maureen to the right, she’s still asleep.
9:30am Maureen woke up slightly twitching. We will give her some time to fully wake up.
9:50am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
10:00am Marie and I started the day by giving Maureen a full body bath using a damp towel and Cetaphil cleanser. Obsessed that left armpit has still some visible redness, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen
10:20am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with couple spoons of Greek yogurt and a cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once and was able to get some phlegm out on her own.
10:40am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.
No Miralax or Senna given.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
Carolyn visits Maureen.
11:10am Morning oral care.
11:20am Facial routine.
11:30am Maureen seems rested and way better. She’s sitting with relaxed arms and awake while listening to her playlist.
12:00pm Maureen stayed awake the whole time, had half cup electrolytes in the meantime.
12:15pm Transferred to the bedroom for a reduced first break. Diaper was medium wet with a Extra large-loose BM, cleaned and changed, then positioned on her right side. Temperature: 98.6
1:00pm Second break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.
1:10pm Blood pressure: 108/78, P 72.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
1:15pm Lunch: Chicken noodle soup with crackers, full cup of sparkling water and Italian ice for dessert. Maureen ate well coughing only once.
1:50pm Oral care.
2:30pm Maureen sits awake listening to her playlist.
2:45pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed then positioned on her left side. Temperature: 98.4
3:30pm Second break end. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the living area.
3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (apple/banana).
