Maureen slept in today, we didn’t start moving until 8:30
8:30am we started by raising the bed up to administer her LEVOTHYROXINE with a couple spoons of applesauce.
8:45am she was still dry so we did a quick wash and changed into clothes for the day and transferred to the kitchen for breakfast.
9:10am 8oz of prune juice, 2 Senna S, a full Activia yogurt, and breakfast smoothie were consumed, followed by her LORATADINE pill with a little more applesauce.
Maureen was leaning to the left so we propped her up with the wedge pillows, she coughed twice.
9:50am Maureen is resting in the chair comfortably, digesting her breakfast.
10:20am Oral care is performed, followed by cleanup and facial treatment.
10:30am We will go into the front room for a bit, to enjoy some entertainment on the television.
11:35 am We transferred to the bedroom for the first rest break, in the middle of changing a medium wet diaper, we noticed Maureen was trying to have a BM. It was very hard at first, Marie used a lubricated finger to assist her, the end of the BM was formed where she could push it out herself.
Overall, I would classify it as medium, very hard and medium formed.
12:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably on her right side, for approximately an hour.
1:10pm As the first break ends, it’s lunchtime. Maureen’s dry, so we got her dressed and transferred to the kitchen.
I prepared a meal consisting of vegetable soup, some turkey, cheese and a few cut up beets, accompanied with 8 oz of coconut water to wash it all down. For a little treat, we gave her a couple spoons of ice cream … 😃
Maureen sat up very well during the lunch service and coughed three times.
2:15pm After she awoke from a little cat nap, Marie brushed Maureen’s teeth, in preparation of break number 2 …
2:30pm Maureen was heavy wet, so we changed and put her on her left side for break#2.
3:40pm Maureen was medium wet after the break ended. We cleaned her up and transferred to the front room for some fresh fruits and game shows.
