November 30 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Maureen is awake and lying quietly in bed.

• 6:40AM - Maya checked the diaper. It is dry.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is in good spirits—alter and engaged for the most part. Maya began by applying Tolcylen to both big toes. She waited 10 minutes before putting on Maureen's socks. Diaper is dry. No clean and change was necessary. Colleen and Maya washed all of the areas of focus on Maureen's upper body using Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam. After assessing all areas, they decided the application of Nystatin Ointment was not necessary.

• Breakfast service began @ 8:38AM. Maureen's posture in the geri chair is good. She is tilting a few degrees to the left. This is become more and more common when the geri chair is in the upright position. Maya started out by giving Maureen a tea spoon of Manuka honey. She then administered the thyroid medication prior to actually starting breakfast. Maureen handled breakfast pretty well. She only coughed 2-3 times.

• Maureen will consume 4 ounces of prune juice today.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None.

• 9:09AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication

• 9:18AM - Morning oral care routine. Maya described the upper right gum area around the implant as a little more red/inflamed than yesterday.

• 9:33AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops

• 9:50AM - Daily facial

• 10:35AM - Organic fruit smoothie. Maureen coughed three times while consuming the smoothie.

• 10:55AM - Colleen and Maya transported Maureen to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. The diaper was medium wet. While perfuming the clean and change, Maureen urinated on the pad. The ladies replaced the pad and repeated the clean and change process. Once they were finished, they turned Maureen on her left side.

• 11:14AM - Rest Break #1 begins. Maureen will now rest on her left side for the next 60 minutes.

• 12:14PM - Rest Break #1 ends. The diaper was medium wet. After completing a clean and change, Colleen and Maya transferred Maureen to the kitchen for lunch.

• 12:35PM - Lunch | Maya prepared a 1/2 turkey and melted cheese with mayonnaise on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 a bowl of homemade cabbage and chicken soup and 1/4 of a sliced tomato. Maureen also drank 1 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. For dessert, Maureen enjoyed a very small serving go rice pudding. Overall, she handled lunch well—coughed only twice.

• General Observation @ 12:49PM> Maureen is rather lethargic today. She was much more energetic yesterday.

• 1:16PM - Afternoon oral care

• 1:55PM - It is time to prepare for Rest Break #2. Colleen and Maya took Maureen to the bedroom. The diaper was medium wet. They performed and clean and change and then set Maureen up on her right side.

• 2:10PM - Rest Break #2 begins. Maureen will lay on her right side for the next 60 minutes.

• 3:10PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper is medium wet. Maureen had a very small firm bowel movement. After completing a clean and change, we proceeded to the front room to watch some television.
