November 18 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is awake. Chatting quietly with herself from time to time.

• 6:45AM - Maya checked the diaper. It is dry.

• 7:20AM - Maureen is still awake.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:10AM. She is in good form. Diaper was heavy wet. We performed a clean and change. To wrap things up, Maya used 3M Cavilon Barrier Cream and 3M Cavilon No-Sting Barrier Film to all appropriate areas. Next oder of business was to apply the new wash protocol to all areas of the upper body where perspiration/moisture accumulates. Upon completion of the wash process, Maya applied Nystatin Ointment to right inner forearm/elbow area and underneath the right breast.

• Breakfast service commenced @ 8:40AM. Maureen is siting almost perfectly upright in the geri chair. First oder of business was the administration of the thyroid medication. Maureen coughed seven times during or immediately after breakfast.

• Maureen will consume 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• 9:12AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication.

• 9:19AM - Morning oral care routine begins. Upper right gum area around the implant looks very good—only slightly irritated.

• 9:53AM - Eyelash cleaning and eyedrops

• 10:30 - Organic fruit smoothie. Maureen coughed only twice.

• 11:00AM - It was time for rest break #1. We transported Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was light wet. Maya and I performed a clean and change. We set Maureen up on her left side.

• 11:10AM - Maureen will now rest on her left side for the next hour.

• 12:10PM - Rest period # 1 concludes. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen also had a large formed bowel movement. We performed a thorough clean and change. Upon completion, we headed to the kitchen for lunch.

• 12:35PM - Lunch | Maureen enjoyed 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 bowl of homemade vegetable soup, 1/2 a sliced tomato and a small serving of green beans. She also drank a 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Coconut Water. Maureen did not cough once during the lunch.

• 1:55PM - Rest period #2 arrives. We headed to the bedroom. The diaper was medium wet. Maureen also had a medium formed bowel movement. We performed a clean and change and set Maureen up on her right side.

• 2:12PM - Rest period #2 begins. Maureen will remain on her right side for the next hour.

• 3:05PM - We ended rest period #2 a bit early to ensure Maureen had ample time to get the lift recliner in the front room so that she could enjoy her fruit snack. Diaper was light wet. We performed a clean and change. Afterwards, it was off to front room.
