November 16 daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen is awake. She is lying on her left side.

  • 8:16am Our morning begins. Today is bed bath day. Maya and I noted redness under Maureen's waist - we applied a layer of Nystatin to the area. Diaper is dry. We applied 3M products and finished dressing.

  • 8:57am Administered Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  • 9:00am Breakfast - oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice, cup of water. 2 coughs, 2 sneezes.

  • 9:45am Administered Lisinopril and Loratidine with applesauce.

  • 9:48am Oral care.

  • 9:55am We reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch.

  • 10:00am Morning facial routine.

  • General Observation @ 10:15am - This morning looked like our usual routine. We got started early. Maureen was awake and Maya and I saw no seizure-like symptoms. Breakfast also went very well - Maureen was engaged the whole time. Maureen's energy level started to fade at 10:00am during the facial routine.

  • 10:45am Fruit smoothie.

  • 11:05am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:26am.

  • 12:26pma Rest break #1 ends. Maureen's diaper is medium wet and she had a small, formed bowel movement - Maya and i performed a clean and change and finished dressing.

  • 12:40pm Maya and I washed and styled Maureen's hair.

  • 12:53pm Lunch - chicken noodle soup, beets, Cheasapeake Bay shrimp salad, bottle of organic coconut water, cup of water.

  • 1:20pm Oral care.

  • 1:40pm Maya and I cleaned Maureen's ears.

  • 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her left side. Rest break #2 begins at 2:11pm.

  • 2:45pm We ended Maureen's rest break early to prepare for her weekly nurse visit. Diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:00pm Fruit snack.
