Monday September 25, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen’s awake, lying on her left with Tom by her side. He tells me she’s woke up about 15 minutes ago.

• 7:00am Maureen’s accepting sips of water via swab.

• 7:30am Maureen’s closing her eyes from time to time.

• 8:00am She’s still in and out of sleep.

• 8:30am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:40am Our day starts. Joanna and I cleaned and changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Washed Maureen’s upper body with warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. We observed a redness spot on top of her right eyebrow, and another one by her ri breast folding, applied nystatin to this one. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Breakfast: 1/2 diced pear, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax and an oatmeal/fruit smoothie. She coughed twice.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:35am Morning oral care.

• 9:45am Eyes wash and eyes drops.

• 9:50am Facial routine performed.

• 10:15am Blood pressure: 108/75, P 73.

• 10:20am Maureen’s snoozing in the chair.

• 11:05am Maureen already had 3/4 cup of lemon water.

• 11:10am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her right side starting at 11:25am.

• 12:10pm First break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 12:25pm Lunch: carrot soup, grilled chicken salad, fresh diced tomato, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Reclined Geri chair one notch during meal , Maureen was leaning forward. Coughed once and her nose was runny.

• 1:00pm Oral care.

• Maureen stayed awake the whole time after lunch, energy level was fading by the time for her break.

• 2:00pm She drank 1/2 cup of ginger tea.

• 2:30pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Diaper was heavy wet, changed and cleaned. Positioned on her Lt at 2:45.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Changed and cleaned a m wet diaper, dressed and headed Maureen to the front room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon).
