Monday September 18, 2023 Daytime update

  • 6:30am Maureen’s asleep lying on her left side.

  • 7:00am Maureen’s sleeping.

  • 7:30am Maureen woke up calmly earlier, opened eyes for few minutes before going back to sleep.

  • 8:05am Maureen’s been awake for 20 minutes, we raised the bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:15am Our day starts. Joanna and I changed Maureen’s diaper, md wet, applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Continued giving her an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 8:40am Maureen’s enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 6oz prune juice with 1/4cap Miralax, and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for breakfast. Coughed once.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

  • 9:00am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

  • Daily Miralax dosage: 1/4 cap.

  • 9:10am Morning oral care.

  • 9:20am Eyes care and eyes drops.

  • 9:25am Facial routine.

  • 9:40am Maureen’s snoozing in the chair.

  • 10:20am Maureen is awake and alert now, she’s almost done drinking her first cup of lemon water.

  • 10:30am Blood pressure: 115/78, P: 65.

  • 11:00am We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Diaper was dry, she’s positioned on her right side starting at 11:10am.

  • 12:00m First break ends. Changed and cleaned a md wet diaper, dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

  • 12:15pm Lunch: Vegetables soup, shrimp salad, steamed Brussels sprouts, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. No coughs.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

  • 12:45pm Oral care.

  • 1:30pm Maureen’s sitting listening music. She is pretty much alert and in good spirit.

  • 1:50pm Maureen already had another 3/4 cup of lemon water.

  • 2:15pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Diaper was heavy wet, changed and cleaned. Positioned on her Lt side starting at 2:30pm.

  • 3:08pm Nurse Marilyn from Star Lab visited Maureen and draw blood for her routine b. work.

  • 3:20pm Second break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

  • 3:35pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack ( melon and kiwi).
