8:00am Maureen’s awake, lying on her left with Tom by her bedside, and receptive to sips of water via swab.
8:35am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:40am Marianne and I started our day by giving Maureen a full body bath using a damp washcloth and Cetaphil cleanser. Noticed slight redness by he left arm fold, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and continued to wash Maureen’s hair, headed to the kitchen afterward.
9:05am Breakfast starts with 8oz prune juice.
9:15am Blow/dry and style Maureen’s hair.
9:30am Breakfast cont. with oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a full Activia yogurt, and a cup of lemon water.
9:35am Administered 10mg Loratadine and 2-50mg Senna plus with smoothie.
Daily Senna dosage: 2-50mg
9:55am Oral care.
10:05am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.
10:20am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She was napping all the way back home.
Carolyn visits Maureen.
11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry, positioned on her right side.
Maureen closed her eyes for 30 minutes during break.
12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the kitchen.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.
12:45pm Blood pressure: 110/65, P 51.
12:50pm Lunch: Sweet peas soup, tuna salad, guacamole, full cup of sparkling water and rice pudding for dessert. Coughed twice.
1:45pm Oral care.
Maureen stayed alert the entire time after lunch.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper it’s dry, positioned on her left side.
3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living area.
3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi), and half cup of lemon water.
