Monday, Sept. 8, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's soundly sleeping while on her left side.

8:45AM - Maureen woke up jumpy, hands and jaw not tight. O2 at 92%, P: 70bpm. We gave her sips of water via swab when she settled down.

9:05AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:15AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath with warm water and cetaphil cleanser, no redness on skin. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We dressed her and moved to the front room.

9:30AM - Neb treatment with saline.

Maureen had sq 8oz of lemon water before breakfast. Had waffle with butter and grape jelly, banana and 4 oz coffee. Coughed 3x and sneezed 2x.

10:05AM - Oral care.

10:10AM - Eye care/eye drops routine.

Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Shelly, RN arrived for Maureen's weekly nurse visit. Lungs clear, bowel sounds active.

BP: 110/54, P: 64 bpm, T: 97.1

11:30AM - Maureen was awake the entire time while she's on the recliner. We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet with medium soft BM. We cleaned and changed her, position to face the right side.

12:25PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we got Maureen dressed and moved to the kitchen.

Lunch - Chicken noodle soup (blended), and 10oz coconut water. Coughed 2x.

12:50PM - Oral care.

Went out for a walk.

2:00PM - Maureen took 8oz of water with electrolyte powder after a nice walk.

2:28PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

3:00PM - 2nd rest break ended early since Sister Roberta is coming. Diaper was clean and dry. We got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.

3:10PM - Maureen took 2oz of lemon water. Fruit snack followed (apple, pear and melon).

Total liquid intake - approximately 33 oz.
