6:30am Maureen’s asleep, lying on her left with Tom by her side. He tells me, she opened her eyes earlier and went back to sleep soon after.
7:00am Maureen’s sleeping.
7:30am She’s in and out of sleep.
8:00am Maureen’s receptive to sips of water via swab. Sleepy eyes though.
8:30am Maureen’s sleeping.
8:50am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce. She closed her eyes for a few minutes while on her back.
9:00am Our day starts by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe Vesta. There is some redness area by her right armpit , applied nystatin. Joanna and I cleaned and changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:20am Maureen’s enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1tsp flaxseeds, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. She coughed twice even though there was not phlegm rumbling in the throat.
9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.
Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap.
9:35am Morning oral care. Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
9:45am Eyes care and facial routine performed.
10:20am Blood pressure: 116/74, P 58.
Maureen’s been tired and sleepy this morning. She napped in the chair since we’re done with her morning routine until we put her in bed for the first break.
11:10am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right side at 11:20.
12:15pm Second break ends. After waiting a few minutes, diaper was still dry. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.
12:30pm Lunch: Chicken noodle soup, tuna salad, diced tomato, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Reclined Geri chair one notch, Maureen was leaning forward. She coughed once during meal.
1:00pm Oral care.
2:00pm Maureen finished drinking her first cup of lemon water. She’s been awake since taking her first break; looking somewhat tired still.
2:10pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Diaper was heavy wet with an Extra-small formed BM, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left side starting at 2:25.
3:15pm Second break ends. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Dr and headed Maureen to the front room.
3:35pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi), plus half cup of lemon water.. No coughs.
Now Maureen looks rested and in good spirit!
