Monday October 23, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen is lying on her left with Tom by her side. As per Tom, she just opened her eyes with a slight twitching. She calmed down shortly after.

• 7:00am Maureen’s awake, she’s been accepting sips of water via swab.

• 7:30am Maureen went back to sleep a few minutes ago.

• 8:00am Maureen’s closing her eyes from time to time.

• 8:30am Maureen’s fully awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine pill with apple sauce.

• 8:40am Our day starts. Joanna and I cleaned and changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Gave Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. No redness observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Maureen’s enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1ts flaxseeds, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. She coughed once.

• 9:25am administered 10mg loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:30am Morning oral care.

• 9:40am Eyes care and eyes drops.

• 9:45am Facial routine.

• 10:30am Maureen’s snoozing in and out.

• 10:55am Maureen fin drinking her first cup of lemon water.

• 11:00am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right side starting at 11:10.

• 12:10pm First break ends. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 12:25pm Blood pressure: 118/88, P 67.

• 12:30pm Lunch: Beans soup, tuna salad with diced tomato, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. No coughs.

• 1:00pm Oral care.

• Maureen‘s been alert and awake the whole time since taking her first break.

• 2:00pm She had 1/4 cup of lemon water.

• 2:10pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Cleaned and changed a heavy wet diaper with a small-soft bowel movement. Positioned on her Lt side at 2:25.

• 3:20pm Second break ends. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed Maureen to the front room.

• 3:40pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack ( melon/pear/kiwi). She didn’t cough.
