May 31 daytime update

Happy Memorial Day !

Maureen was awake since 6.30 .

8.10am- the day started! Maureen diaper was lightly wet. Maya and Tom cleaned Maureen , put a new diaper, pants and socks. Transferred her to the day chair using the Hoyer lift. Maureen was in a good mood, talkative and smiling.

8.20am-breakfast . Started with thyroid pill and apple sauce.We used the wedge pillow on Maureen’s left side to help her sitting upright. One cap of prune juice, banana and oatmeal.

8.45-am-morning pills admitted- baby aspirin and blood pressure medication. Administered Flonase also, since her nose was running.

9.00 am- After the SPA treatment we did some PT - hands and legs exercises.

10.00 am- Took Maureen to the recliner, transferred her using the Hoyer lift. Diaper was dry.

10.30 am- Smoothie time

Maureen feel asleep for about 10-15 minutes, then rested , opening and closing her eyes.

12.00 pm- Went to the bedroom to change Maureen’s wet diaper, using the lift for all transfers.Cleaned and put a new diaper on.

12.15pm-. Lunch time . Maureen ate well, butternut squash soup and angel hair pasta with chicken, had a bottle of coconut water.

1.00pm- Maureen is sitting in the day chair by the front door, looking outside.

2.00pm- Transferred Maureen to the recliner, using the Hoyer lift.

3.00pm- Fruit snack

3.30pmpm- Transferred Maureen to the bedroom to change the wet diaper. There was a small #2 in bed. Cleaned well and put a new diaper on. Maureen is comfortably resting on the recliner. Used the lift for all the transfers.
