Monday July 5, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in her recliner.

• 4:40pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet so we proceed to the bathroom. After 4 minutes, Maureen urinated (cloudy) in the toilet. She did not move her bowels. We put on a new pull-up and returned to the recliner.

• 6:30pm Dinnertime. Due to Maureen’s slumping throughout the day, we elected to have dinner in the recliner today. Maureen ate all of her breaded pork chop and steamed carrots and drank one cup of water. No coughing, no pocketing of water.

• 7:14pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 8:15pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is slightly wet; cleaned and put on a fresh diaper. No redness observed. Socks removed and Vicks applied to chest. Pillow placed in between legs. Head of the bed elevated. Body pillows placed on either side. Maureen is lying on her right side.
