Monday July 12, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is in the day chair on her way back to the recliner.

• 6:10pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet. We headed to the bathroom. After 8 minutes, Maureen had a very small bowel movement but she did not urinate any more. We cleaned her and put on a new pull-up.

• 6:25pm Dinnertime. Maureen had sloppy joe and potato salad and also had two cups of water. No coughing, no pocketing of water. Maureen sat upright fairly well with use of the green wedge pillow.

• 7:15pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 7:48pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is dry; put on a new diaper. Vicks applied to chest. Socks removed and ciclopirox applied to both right and left big toe. Pillow placed in between legs. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Head of the bed elevated. Maureen is lying on her right side.
