Monday February 12, 2024 Daytime update

8:00am Maureen’s asleep lying on her left side. Tom tells me, she woke earlier around 5:45am, had sips of water via swab and has been mostly asleep since.
8:30am Maureen sleeps soundly.
8:50am Maureen woke up with slight twitching, her pulse went up 122-125 within 5 minutes and started going down to the 90s in the next 4 minutes. Whole episode lasted about 10 minutes
9:15am Maureen is fully awake, we raised the bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine w/apple sauce.
9:25am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Marianne and I cleaned and changed a light wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Noticed small redness by her right armpit, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:45am Administered 50mg Senna plus w/apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
10:00am Breakfast: 8oz Prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie w/2 prunes and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. Maureen coughed and sneezed twice, was able to cough out phlegm on her own.
10:15am Administered 10mg loratadine w/smoothie.
No Miralax, Senna plus instead.
10:35am Morning oral care.
10:45am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.
11:00am Maureen sits comfortably watching an animated movie.
Maureen closed her eyes for approximately 15 minutes during the movie.
11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her right side starting at 11:45.
12:30pm First break ends. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper, dressed and headed to the kitchen.
12:45pm Lunch: Chicken/veggies soup, chicken salad, sliced beets, full cup of coconut water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Coughed once.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
1:20pm Oral care.
1:35pm Blood pressure: 118/78, P 84.
2:00pm Maureen sits fully comfortably and fully awake
while listening to her playlist. She had 1/3 cup of lemon water in the meantime.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper was md wet with a Medium-formed BM. Cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left at 2:45.
3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.
3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi).
