Monday, August 14 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake, laying on her left side with Tom laying next to her. Tom said that Maureen experienced a light episode at 6:15 am. Her eyes were wide open and there was some twitching. She is calm and comfortable at 6:30 am.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:45 am- Maureen is waking up.

• 9:: 00 am- We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:15 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was light wet. Emily and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen. We couldn't get the BP reading. Will try again later.

• 9:30 am- Breakfast- Oatmeal smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, half of yogurt. Maureen coughed three times.

• 10:00 am- Administered Loratadin and Metoprolol.

• 10:05 am- Morning oral care.

• 10:10 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 10:25 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 10:30 am- Facial routine.

• 10:45 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

• 11:20 am- Emily and I transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was dry. She will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:30 am.

• 11:45 am- BP is 109/73.

• 12:30 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:40 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, shrimp salad, steamed broccoli, half of yogurt, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice. She finished her water cup.

• 1:15 pm- Oral care . We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen finished her second cup of lemon water.

• 2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. Emily and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:30 pm.

• 3:30 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 3:40 pm- - Fresh melon snack. No coughs.

• 3:50 pm- BP is 101/68.

• Maureen was quiet today, but overall had a good day. Not a lot of coughing, no phlegm today, no runny nose. She snoozed a little in the morning, but the rest of the day she was wide awake and alert.
