May 6, 2021 Swingshift Update

  • 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in recliner.

  • 6:05pm Maureen is up to the bathroom. Pull-up is slightly wet, changed to a fresh pair. Maureen urinated (cloudy) but did not move her bowels.

  • 6:30pm dinner time. Maureen ate 100% of her roast, rice, and carrots and had one cup of water.

  • 7:18pm Administered 10mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

  • 8:05pm Maureen is still awake, engaged, and talkative. We will keep her up as long as possible.

  • 8:25pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen from the day chair to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is slightly wet, performed perineal care and put on a fresh diaper. Applied Vicks to chest and both right and left big toe. Maureen is turned on her right side.

  • 8:38pm Maureen is sound asleep.
