May 5 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is awake and gently stirring in bed. She is moving her arms and legs somewhat regularly. Diaper is dry.

• 7:40AM - Maureen is trying to fall back asleep—goes in an out. Her diaper remains dry.

• 8:35AM - Maureen remains lightly asleep—moving around her arms and legs from time to time. Her pull up is now wet. We estimate she urinated between 8-8:30AM.

• Day officially began at 8:45AM. Maureen is in good spirits—generally alert and engaged. Her diaper was wet. Maya cleaned and changed her.

• Breakfast began at 9:10AM. Maureen is listing a bit to the left. She is sitting upright. Maya inserted a green wedge pillow to straighten her position.

• Maureen will consume 1/2 glass of prune juice this morning.

• Nasal congestion is evident. We will give Maureen a dose of Flonase in each nostril.

• 9:45AM - Maureen's feet and arms felt cold. We took her temperature. It was 96.6. Oxygen/heart rate was 91/82. We will check it again a bit later. Maya placed a sweatshirt on her. I checked the thermostat. It was 65 degrees in the house. I turned on the heat.

• 9:50AM - Maureen is still tilting to the left. She is starting to lean more forward.

• Kathy came for a visit at approximately 10:30AM. She is going to come back tomorrow to shampoo and style Maureen's hair using Selsun Blue.

• 11:00AM - We moved Maureen to the lift recliner because she was slumping forward quite a bit in the day chair.

• 12:40PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up was damp. She had a huge firm bowel movement—2 very large pieces. She also urinated a good amount of slightly cloudy urine in the toilet.

• 1:05PM - Lunch. We have Maureen one bottle of Harmless Harvest Coconut Water.
