  • 6:30AM - Maureen is stirring lightly. She is in and out of sleep.

  • 6:45AM - Maureen continues to stir. Maya checked the diaper. It is dry.

  • Maureen began her day @ 8:15AM. She is in a good frame of mind. Congestion is moderate. We will administer a dose of Flonase during the breakfast session. No nebulizer saline solution treatment is necessary. The diaper is medium wet. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of the process Maya and I use to get Maureen ready for the day.

  • Maya and I closely examined the waistline. There is almost no redness. As a result, we did not apply Nystatin Ointment.

  • Breakfast service began @ 8:55AM. Posture in the geri chair is less than average. Maureen is tilting in a somewhat pronounced fashion to the left. We used both wedge pillows and Magic Mike to straighten her posture. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Maya and I use each day.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

  • General observations @ 9:37AM> This morning has definitely been a mixed bag. Maureen handled breakfast quite well. She only coughed once. Energy is below normal. Consequently, engagement, responsiveness and communication were not good. Her eyes were partially closed throughout breakfast. Additionally, Maureen continues to slump somewhat heavily to the left and forward. Maya and I used a number of different combinations of the wedge pillows and Magic Mike to straighten Maureen's posture.

  • 9:50M - Morning oral care routine

  • 10:00AM - We tilted the gerri chair back one level for Maureen's comfort and to relieve stress off of her back.

  • 10:01AM - Eyelash cleaning and eyedrops.

  • 10:06AM - Morning facial including hands and arms

  • 10:36AM - Organic fruit smoothie

  • 11:05AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was light wet. Maureen had a very small formed bowel movement. After completing a clean & change, we placed Maureen on her right side.

  • 11:21AM - Rest Break #1 begins

  • 12:21PM - Rest Break #1 concludes. Diaper was light wet. The redness along the waistline was a little greater. We again concluded it did not warrant the application of Nystatin Ointment. Maya and I completed a clean & change. We then transported Maureen to the kitchen for lunch.

  • 12:37PM - Lunch | Maya prepared a serving of lasagna and 1/2 bowl of homemade vegetable soup. Maureen will consume one 16-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water during the lunch service.

  • General observations @ 1:17PM> Lunch went reasonable well. Maureen continued to tilt forward and to the left. She was very lethargic. Here eyes were half closed during the lunch service. She would dose off very briefly from time to time. On the positive side, there were only four coughs and none of them were red faced.

  • 1:32PM - Afternoon oral care routine

  • 1:55PM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #2. Diaper was light wet. After completing a clean & change, Maya and I placed Maureen on her right side.

  • 2:05PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

  • 3:00PM - Rest Break #2 is a wrap. Diaper was light wet. Maya and I performed a clean & change. We then transported Maureen to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.

  • 3:20PM - Afternoon fruit snack
